| Description: | |

"You will learn the basic tools to start developing Flash® Lite™ content and explore the capabilities, API, and limitations of Flash Lite to connect and retrieve data from a remote location.
The presentation will look at the API of Flash Lite 1.1, 2.0, and 2.1 that allow connection to a remote location to retrieve data and media. We will compare the API and look at best practices to use these capabilities for various platforms. The Flash Lite 2.0 example uses these API to retrieve text, images, audio, and video from the Forum Nokia RSS feed and from a remote server. We will examine the various classes to retrieve data from a remote location, including get URL, LoadVars, MovieClipLoader, XMLSockets, and Sound and Video. We will also provide information on tools and data services." |
